The Holy Bible, King James Version Revised

The Book of Psalms

Be merciful unto me, O God: for men would trample upon me; they fighting daily oppress me.
Mine enemies would daily trample upon me: for they be many that fight proudly against me.
What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.
In God, whose word I praise, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear. What can mortal flesh do unto me?
All the day long they wrest my words: all their thoughts are against me for evil.
They gather themselves together, they lurk privily, they mark my steps, as they wait to take my life.
Let none thereof escape the recompense for their iniquity; in thine anger cast down the people, O God.
Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book?
When I call unto thee, then shall mine enemies turn back: this I know; for God is for me.
In God, whose word I praise: in the LORD whose word I praise.
In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid. What can man do unto me?
Thy vows are upon me, O God: I will render thank offerings unto thee.
For thou hast delivered my soul from death, yea, my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of the living.
